Cleansing Oil
- Description
An all-in-one facial cleanser, exfoliator, and moisturizer for all skin types. Cleansing Oil is essentially a gentle alternative to soap - it cleanses without stripping the skin of its natural oils or disrupting the microbiome. It removes the bad, and leaves the good, whereas soap removes everything, causing imbalances to those with sensitive skin (acne, dryness, irritation, etc).
Our organic Cleansing Oil removes dirt, makeup, impurities, dead skin cells, and pollution from the pores. The Oil Cleansing Method has been used for thousands of years because it can reduce oil, rejuvenate and hydrate, all without drying out the skin. If you like to keep things simple, our Cleansing Oil is the only product you'll ever need in your skin care routine. Please note that Cleansing Oil is ideal for all skin types, with the exception of severe, medical skin conditions such as fungal acne.
Choose our refill option to reuse your dropper over and over again, or simply if you prefer a plastic-free option.
This is a cosmetic product and is meant for external use only. Do not ingest.

How to use
Method 1: As the first step in your skincare routine, massage a full dropper of oil onto dry face for 60 seconds in circular motions. Wet a clean cotton round or rag with warm water and wring it out, then gently wipe away all of the remaining oil. Follow with a gentle, oil-based moisturizer, especially if you are prone to dry skin.
Method 2: Double cleansing- follow the steps in method 1, but wash your face afterward with a gentle soap cleanser, then follow with an oil-based moisturizer. We recommend double cleansing if you wear heavy makeup. You can also choose to double cleanse with oil instead of soap if you are prone to dry skin.

Organic Sunflower Oil
Quality matters. We only use pure virgin, high oleic, organic sunflower oil for our formulations. This unrefined oil retains vitamin content and is high in vitamin E. As an antioxidant, vitamin E helps with premature aging and wrinkles, and the linoleic acid helps the skin retain moisture.
Organic Golden Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil is one of the only oils that is most similar to our skin's natural sebum, helping balance and reduce oily skin. It is also a humectant, antibacterial, antioxidant, hypoallergenic, and can soothe skin irritations such as eczema, psoriasis, and sunburns. Our jojoba oil is cold-pressed, meaning no vitamins or minerals are lost during extraction.
Organic Apricot Kernel Oil
Our organic, virgin apricot oil is cold-pressed extracted from the kernel and is rich in Vitamin A and E, as well as Oleic and Linoleic essential fatty acids. It is easily absorbed into the skin, promoting skin softness, elasticity and a glowing and radiant complexion.
Apricot oil also provides skin barrier support, locks in moisture, is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Organic Rosehip Seed Oil
Our virgin organic Rosehip Seed Oil, also known as Rosa Canina, is cold-pressed extracted from the seeds of the rose bush and naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids, and have restorative benefits, help prevent oxidative damage, boost collagen production, and fade scars.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is cleansing oil suitable for oily skin?
Yes! Oil balances oil. It is a huge myth (created by the beauty industry) that you need to use oil-free products to combat oily skin. Oil-free products strip our skin of it's natural oils, causing our skin to over-produce oil to compensate for the loss, resulting in very oily skin. Incorporate oils into your routine, ditch the oil-free cleansers, and watch your skin return to its natural balance.
When should I use cleansing oil in my routine?
Cleansing Oil is the first step in your nighttime and daytime routine (if you also choose to use it in the morning). It essentially replaces soap cleansers and makeup remover and is meant to be massaged into your skin without water. After oil cleansing and wiping away all of the oil with a damp cotton round or cloth, you can wash your face with a gentle soap cleanser if you choose to use one (this is called double cleansing and we recommend it if you wear a lot of makeup or have very acne prone skin), then follow with a toner or hydrosal, then a serum if you use one, and then a moisturizer.
Can it be used to remove makeup?
Absolutely! Our Cleansing Oil removes everything from your face. Use on your entire face as an oil cleanser or just to remove your eye makeup.
Can the oil be washed off without the use of a cloth?
No. A cloth is needed to absorb the oil and remove it from your pores. Not to mention that not using one will make your sink very oily.
How long does one bottle last?
With every day use, once a day, our 2oz bottle will last an average of 4-5 weeks.
Can it be used as a moisturizer?
Yes! Our Cleansing Oil is multi-purpose. You can use it as an oil cleanser, to remove eye makeup with a cotton round, and as a stand-alone moisturizer. However, if you are prone to dry skin, we recommend using a moisturizer on top of it.
Should I incorporate cleansing oil into my PM or AM routine?
We recommend incorporating our Cleansing Oil into your nighttime skincare routine, to help remove dirt that has built up throughout the day. But you can also use it midday to cleanse the skin after a workout, sweating, or time outside. You can also incorporate it in your morning skincare routine, because we do sweat in our sleep, but this is totally optional.
Do you apply the oil on a damp or dry face?
Dry! Oil and water don't mix, water would only get in the way of the oil binding to the dirt on your face while you massage.
